You can't taste the meat but it tastes completely different to shop bought stuff. Still have another 3 pies to eat tomorrow and 2 thirds of a jar in the fridge. Whoo hoo! We (my friends Ritchie & Val plus me) give it a solid 8.5 out of 10. Thanks!
